→ The Greatest Love Story of All Time by Lucy Robinson.
Our gin loving Fran is a great a portrayal of how we all feel when a relationship ends. Hiding beneath her covers, drowning in gin and stalking the ‘new woman’, Robison characterizes every woman’s thoughts and feelings of having been dumped.
We follow Fran through the Eight Date Plan, with the clear goal of getting her beloved Michael back. But by the time her eighth day arrives with Michael, is he really all she’s made him up to be?
It’s a love story of course bit it’s also a tale of never changing who you are for someone else and finding someone who loves all your imperfections.
Definitely recommended although not a book I could read over and over again.
